Our hosts, Mihaela Popovici and R\u0103zvan Marchi\u0219, from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.actacenter.ro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ACTA <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.actacenter.ro\/\">Center<\/a>, welcomed us in the vibrant city of Oradea where we participated in activities such as street art design, meditation sessions and theoretical talks about the topic of \u201cemotions\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MONDAY 10<sup>th<\/sup>, OCT. \u201822<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today, R\u0103zvan presents us with a theoretical framework about what emotions are and how they affect us. He describes how we can split emotions into two categories: positive and negative emotions and how the best scenario is to be able to accept and embrace both types of emotions in our lives. We participate in different activities such as thinking of different words that are typically associated with positive emotions (happiness, joy, \u2026) and negative emotions (anger, anxiety, \u2026) and we discuss what the main differences between feelings and emotions are.<\/p>\n<p><script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/embed.js\"><\/script><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php? href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fpermalink.php%3Fstory_fbid%3Dpfbid0uWNgy6dzphAbPF5EsHwgf217JB7rLbx5KjuRPd7RkXgpYM9t85mcKt7wWmQH4kRtl%26id%3D100054646651454&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"744\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>TUESDAY 11<sup>th<\/sup>, OCT. \u201822<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As our host, R\u0103zvan, points out, \u201cFun is the beginning of flow\u201d. Today, we discuss how thinking about something positive or negative can provoke changes in our system and how feelings may get in the way of our performance so we try to push them away. There is a viewing of the following video where this can be better understood:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/q06YIWCR2Js\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>We converse about how to go from a state of anxiety or alert to a calm state and the concept of \u201cbreathing\u201d is introduced. We learn and practice different breathing techniques that are meant to be helpful when in a state of agitation so we can calm ourselves down and be able to think and act more rationally. The figure of <em>Alejandro Jodorowsky<\/em> is introduced in relation to his documentary<a href=\"https:\/\/thefilmstage.com\/psychomagic-a-healing-art-review-alejandro-jodorowsky-pitches-his-form-of-trauma-therapy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> <em>Psychomagic, a Healing Art<\/em><\/a>, and how we can learn to identify the root of a trauma and reenact it with a different outcome.<\/p>\n<p>We finish the training of the day by joining <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/roxana.netea\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Roxana Stan<\/a>, a street artist from Oradea, who shows us her work on the pavement in a famous park in Oradea and explains to us how art can help us let go of our emotions and thoughts, providing us an opportunity to express ourselves in a more visual way. All the members in the mobility draw a mandala together on one of the pavements of such a park, in which we capture the moment of being there, referencing the idea of <em>FLOW<\/em> and connecting it to our backgrounds and institutions back home.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Froxana.netea%2Fposts%2Fpfbid0Tb6e6cMMf2NPM4LRGqbpx5dGEFRRQaftM9L5Y4sRFtg77Wqe3yCQeKyrtgJwG8Yzl&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"652\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>WEDNESDAY 12<sup>th<\/sup>, OCT. \u201822<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the third day of our mobility, we focus on how our bodies can be in a relaxed or agitated way and the connection of different emotions with these two different states. Yoga instructor, Maya Kovacs, leads a session on how to use yoga techniques in order to relax our bodies and mind. We work on training our minds to be able to concentrate on specific aspects so we can be in total control of our thoughts and emotions. Some of the activities carried out are in connection with Claude Coldy\u2019s Sentitive Dance. We summarize the main concepts dealt with in this training and we proceed to present the certificates to the different participants in the mobility.
