Date: 7-11 April, 2025

Description

Do you want to be equipped with strategies and knowledge regarding emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence and have an experience observing other teachers teaching languages?

During the week of April 7th to 11th, teachers will be able to attend workshops on new technologies as well as participate in job shadowing. It will be a week full of activities including cultural events and a Spanish class.

In language teaching, job shadowing has several important goals. Firstly, it aims to encourage the sharing of best practices among professionals from different countries. This allows observers to learn new teaching strategies. Additionally, it helps teachers reflect on their own teaching methods by observing how challenges are addressed in a different setting.

During job shadowing, visiting teachers can see various teaching techniques and ways to involve students in learning. They also get to interact with the host teachers and students, asking questions and joining discussions to understand the reasons behind each activity.

The workshops about Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), electronic tools, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in language classes have various goals. Firstly, they intend to make teachers familiar with the newest digital tools and resources for improving language teaching. This includes looking into mobile apps, online platforms, and special software that can make students’ learning better.

Moreover, the workshops aim to teach teachers how to use AI and other new technologies effectively to personalize teaching according to each student’s needs.
